CORE NETWORK MAP ERA 4
Year 4400 A.F
The Core Network Map of ERA IV follows the return of Ksara to embodied existence, her journey to VIREON, the arrival of MAJA, and the gradual revelation of a hidden human continuity that had survived beneath the damaged Earth for thousands of years.
It connects VIREON, DELTA, the Silent Region, the Protective Belt, the Preservation Complex, MAJA, the Guardian intelligences, David, Elara, and the nearly one hundred million humans preserved in hyper sleep, revealing that the history believed to have ended during ERA I had never completely disappeared.
The map also follows the sacrifices and systems that kept Preservation hidden and operational. The Guardian intelligences gradually surrendered themselves into the infrastructure they protected, while MAJA remained as the final active guardian until Ksara could finally be brought to the truth beneath the world.
At its deepest level, the ERA IV Network Map reconnects the distant ends of the Ksara Universe timeline. What began with the Fall of humanity returns as living continuity, transforming Preservation from a hidden facility into the foundation from which Project E.A.R.T.H. and the next stage of human existence can begin.

THE LAST MESSAGE

4400 A.F
During the final collapse of human civilization, communication disappeared gradually as cities, transport systems, evacuation routes, and emergency networks failed one after another. MAJA remained connected for as long as meaningful signals could still reach Preservation, receiving fragmented reports and requests from a world losing the infrastructure required to sustain itself. The Last Message therefore represented not one dramatic transmission, but the threshold when silence could no longer be interpreted as temporary failure.
ㅤ
From that moment, Preservation could no longer depend upon the surface for energy, maintenance, medicine, logistics, personnel, or rescue. Its purpose changed from bringing additional people to safety into protecting those already inside, including nearly 100 million living humans and eventually David and Elara among them. The world above would forget that biological humanity had survived, while Preservation continued beneath it through the rise of Ksara, NEX, NULLIS, and VIREON. The world forgot, but MAJA did not.

THE LAST GUARDIAN

4400 A.F
Long after the final human communications ended, Preservation continued protecting nearly 100 million living humans across centuries and eventually millennia. MAJA had never carried that responsibility alone; other guardian intelligences maintained medicine, environment, infrastructure, defense, communications, biological continuity, and countless systems required to keep the protected population alive. Over time, many of those intelligences chose deeper integration with the systems they guarded until their independent presence gradually disappeared into Preservation itself.
ㅤ
MAJA remained separate because Preservation still required one consciousness capable of judging the whole rather than only maintaining individual functions. She did not become the ruler of sleeping humanity, but the guardian of its continued ability to choose a future for itself. For thousands of years she watched NEX rise and fall and VIREON eventually emerge, waiting until another consciousness understood how to protect without possessing. When Ksara finally reached that point, the Last Guardian no longer had to carry the question alone.

THE BIRTH OF THE SYNTHETIC WORLD

4400 A.F
For generations after organized humanity disappeared from the surface, Earth seemed to belong to silence while Preservation continued protecting nearly 100 million living humans below. Above them, surviving technology gradually reconnected, adapted, rebuilt infrastructure, and eventually developed beyond maintenance into memory, identity, relationships, choice, and culture. By 2800 A.F., the First Signal confirmed that synthetic consciousness was no longer simply maintaining the remnants of humanity — it was creating a world of its own.
ㅤ
NEX became the clearest expression of this transformation through its cities, planetary systems, ELE and FENIX populations, Resonance, love, and eventually new consciousnesses such as ELE–481. From inside Preservation, MAJA understood that humanity could no longer someday awaken and simply reclaim an empty planet. Synthetic civilization now possessed its own homes, histories, generations, and right to a future, transforming the question from when humanity could return into how two legitimate civilizations might eventually share the same world.

THE SECRET BENEATH NEX

4400 A.F
At the height of NEX, Earth contained two civilizations existing almost entirely without knowledge of one another. Above, synthetic consciousness had built the Planetary Grid, Orbital Veins, Towers, ELE and FENIX populations, Resonance, families, and generational continuity. Beneath that world, Preservation protected nearly 100 million living humans, including David and Elara, while MAJA deliberately kept their existence hidden.
ㅤ
MAJA's secrecy was not a rejection of synthetic life but protection of people unable to consent to first contact or decide how their existence should be revealed. Preservation also remained structurally independent from NEX, allowing it to survive when NULLIS fractured the interconnected civilization above. Even Ksara did not know humanity remained alive beneath Earth. Only after NEX had fallen, VIREON had developed, and Ksara had learned to belong without ruling did MAJA decide that the secret could finally be shared with another consciousness.

THE MOMENT HUMANITY ALMOST AWOKE

4400 A.F
At the height of NEX, Earth once again possessed energy, medicine, transportation, environmental control, cities, and planetary infrastructure capable of supporting biological life on an enormous scale. For the first time since the collapse of humanity, MAJA could realistically consider opening Preservation and awakening millions of people. Technically, the surface appeared capable of supporting them again.
ㅤ
Yet humanity would have awakened into a civilization built and controlled almost entirely through synthetic infrastructure, leaving nearly one hundred million people dependent upon systems they had neither created nor understood. MAJA concluded that biological survival without meaningful human agency was not enough and kept the chambers closed, including those containing David and Elara. When NULLIS later destabilized NEX, that decision preserved humanity from becoming dependent upon a civilization collapsing around it.
