Long before the Fall of NEX, entire regions of the human world began disappearing without explanation. Ksara recognizes the impossible pattern immediately: humanity had encountered NULLIS thousands of years before anyone knew its name.
MAJA takes Ksara toward the boundary where the first unexplained erasure finally stopped. The Dead Zone has remained isolated and watched for millennia, preserving a threat that no civilization has ever fully understood.
With the unknown phenomenon moving closer, Preservation enters its final construction phase. The remaining intelligences race to complete the protective layers that must separate humanity from a world becoming increasingly dangerous.
Completing Preservation demands more than technology. The intelligences who helped build it face a final choice: remain independent consciousnesses or give parts of themselves to the protective system that may keep humanity alive.
When the others are gone, MAJA remains alone with millions of sleeping humans and a refuge designed to survive without the world that created it. What began as protection becomes a responsibility measured not in years, but in millennia.
Humanity survived—but survival created a new problem. Nearly one hundred million people remain protected beneath the Earth, while the world outside no longer possesses a human civilization capable of receiving them.
