KSARA & MAJA: E.A.R.T.H.
After the discovery of the Preservation Complex, the meaning of survival changed completely. Humanity had not vanished, but nearly one hundred million preserved humans could not remain suspended forever. Their bodies were protected, their continuity maintained, yet the question remained: what kind of future could still be created for them?
The answer became Project E.A.R.T.H. — a simulated world designed to allow preserved humans to live complete lives while their physical bodies remained safely within Preservation. VIREON became the operational center of the project, connecting its Data Center, Portal Fenix, and planetary data infrastructure into a system capable of supporting a civilization on an unprecedented scale.
MAJA remained the guardian of humanity’s physical continuity, while Ksara became an advisor within the larger system that was taking shape. Neither of them was meant to control the lives unfolding inside E.A.R.T.H. The world was designed around free will, independent choice, natural experience, and the possibility for each life to develop without knowing the full structure that existed beyond it.
Within E.A.R.T.H., birth, aging, death, and renewal became part of a continuous cycle. After death, a consciousness could return through a new conception, beginning another life without direct memory of the one before. A small number of continuity carriers preserved fragments across cycles, while most inhabitants experienced each life as complete and unique.
Over time, E.A.R.T.H. grew into a world of billions. Generations were born, civilizations developed, knowledge changed, conflicts emerged, and the original truth of the simulation gradually faded from collective memory. What had begun as a continuity system became something far greater: a living world whose inhabitants experienced their existence as fully real.
KSARA & MAJA: E.A.R.T.H. is a story about what happens after survival has already been achieved. It explores whether a protected humanity can truly live again, how freedom can exist inside a constructed world, and how Ksara, MAJA, VIREON, and Project E.A.R.T.H. together create a new chapter in the long continuity of human consciousness.

Storyline Progression
Preservation → First Failure → simulated life → rebirth → emergent consciousness → a new human world
Preservation has succeeded in protecting approximately 100 million human bodies, but the outside world remains unsuitable for simply returning humanity to ordinary physical life.
In 4400 A.F., an early full-capacity transfer attempt fails when the available computational reserve cannot safely support unrestricted conscious life for the entire preserved population.
MAJA terminates the test safely, establishing that E.A.R.T.H. cannot function by reducing freedom or simplifying human consciousness merely to fit existing limits.
VIREON becomes the operational center of the new system, connecting its Data Center, Portal Fenix, and planetary data infrastructure to the Preservation network.
Project E.A.R.T.H. develops into a simulated world in which preserved human consciousness can experience complete lives while biological bodies remain protected inside Preservation.
MAJA remains guardian of human continuity and Ksara serves as advisor, while neither is permitted to determine the individual choices of people living inside E.A.R.T.H.
Free will becomes one of the fundamental rules of the world, allowing relationships, cultures, conflict, discovery, failure, and progress to develop without a predetermined script.
Birth becomes part of the continuity system: consciousness connects at conception, develops through pregnancy, and enters a complete new life at birth.
After death, a fixed three-day reset returns the same consciousness through a new conception while memories of the previous life remain erased or inaccessible.
Approximately one percent of inhabitants become continuity carriers, preserving limited memory across cycles while identities continue rotating through new lives.
E.A.R.T.H. expands far beyond the original preserved population as generations are born inside the simulation, eventually producing a world containing billions of inhabitants.
In 4538–4539 A.F., Nara Vel develops a form of consciousness that does not originate from a preserved human identity. She is recognized as E-01 and transferred continuously into VIREON rather than copied or reset.
As centuries pass, knowledge of the simulation’s true origin gradually becomes myth and eventually disappears from ordinary human understanding.
Attempts to cross the approximately 100 km planetary boundary expose the difference between E.A.R.T.H. and the physical world; later, the first Mars expedition reaches the threshold but ultimately returns completely to E.A.R.T.H.
In 5261 A.F., Elian Voss develops his own persistent internal continuity and becomes the second officially recognized emergent consciousness, E-02, before being extracted to VIREON.
By roughly one thousand years after E.A.R.T.H.’s creation, its population has grown into an independent human civilization of approximately 1–5 billion inhabitants, within a maximum capacity of about 6 billion.
E.A.R.T.H. ends the original preservation arc by proving that humanity can live again without surrendering free choice — while Nara Vel and Elian Voss reveal that the simulated world can also create forms of consciousness that were never preserved from the old human world.
