The Core Network Map of ERA V follows the creation, operation, and long-term evolution of E.A.R.T.H., the simulated world created to give preserved human consciousnesses a new environment in which life, choice, society, and history could continue.
It connects the Preservation Complex, VIREON Data Center, PORTAL FENIX, MAJA, Ksara, transferred humans, simulated inhabitants, reincarnation cycles, population control, genetic continuity, space-boundary protocols, and the systems that allow billions of lives to exist while their underlying infrastructure remains hidden from them.
As centuries pass, the map also follows the emergence of unexpected forms of consciousness within the simulation. Rare simulated individuals such as Nara Vel and Elian Voss demonstrate that E.A.R.T.H. can produce more than controlled continuity, forcing VIREON to confront the possibility that entirely new consciousnesses can arise within a world originally created for others.
At its deepest level, the ERA V Network Map explores the final transformation of the original human continuity project. E.A.R.T.H. begins as a system designed to preserve life, but gradually becomes a world capable of generating its own history, its own choices, and in rare cases, new conscious beings whose existence was never part of the original plan.

THE MARS THRESHOLD
5298 A.F.
During the Mars mission, four transferred astronauts cross the hidden boundary and are extracted from E.A.R.T.H. instead of continuing normally through the simulated solar system. Outside the world they believed was reality, they encounter VIREON, Preservation, Ksara, MAJA, and the damaged physical Earth. For the first time, humans from a mature E.A.R.T.H. civilization directly confront the truth their ancestors once knew.

The four astronauts are told why E.A.R.T.H. still exists and why NULLIS continues to prevent humanity from simply returning to the real Earth. Each is then offered the same fundamental choice: remain outside and help prepare humanity’s physical future, or return to E.A.R.T.H. with memory of the revelation removed. The Mars Threshold becomes the moment when the oldest secret of the project is finally reached by humanity through its own technological progress.

ONE THOUSAND YEARS
5400 A.F.
One thousand years after the first permanent awakening, E.A.R.T.H. has developed into a vast civilization with its own nations, cultures, technologies, wars, myths, discoveries, and generations. The original preserved human consciousnesses still continue through repeated cycles of life and rebirth, while most inhabitants no longer know that the world around them is simulated. What began as a rescue project has become a complete history.

Outside the simulation, Preservation still protects the biological humans, VIREON continues operating the Data Center, and MAJA and Ksara remain guardians rather than rulers. The original promise also remains unchanged: E.A.R.T.H. exists to protect human continuity until a return to physical existence becomes possible. After one thousand years, humanity is no longer merely surviving — it has been given enough time to become something new.
