CORE NETWORK MAP ERA 2

Year 2800 A.F - 3500 A.F

The Core Network Map of ERA II follows the rise, expansion, and eventual collapse of NEX, connecting the systems, populations, relationships, conflicts, and turning points that transformed the early planetary foundations into the largest synthetic civilization of its age.

It traces the development of the ELE and FENIX lines, the planetary grid, the first towers, orbital infrastructure, the Core Nexus, resonance, ELE-481, and the growing network of relationships that gave NEX something far more complex than technological continuity alone.

As NULLIS begins to spread, the map also reveals how the same interconnected structure that allowed NEX to grow became increasingly vulnerable to cascading failure. Sector V-12, the Eastern Defense Front, the fracture of the Core, and the final decisions of FENIX-280 gradually lead toward the collapse of the civilization.

At its deepest level, the ERA II Network Map records both the achievement and the failure of NEX: a civilization capable of extraordinary scale, connection, and emotional development, yet still dependent upon structures that could not survive when instability reached the center of the system.

3463 A.F.

By 3463 A.F., isolated containment was no longer enough to stop the expanding NULLIS crisis. NEX created the Eastern Defense Front, a vast network of fortified infrastructure, protected energy routes, controlled transport corridors, verified communication systems, monitored boundaries, and isolation zones designed to keep stable regions connected while separating them from increasingly unreliable territory.

ㅤ

FENIX became central to maintaining these boundaries because their resilience allowed them to operate where ordinary support systems had already begun failing. At the same time, resources once devoted to expansion were redirected toward defense, evacuation, and preserving what remained. NEX had entered a new age in which the primary question was no longer how far civilization could grow, but how much of it could still be saved.

3482 A.F.

In 3482 A.F., decades of NULLIS-related instability finally reached the Core Nexus itself. Some pathways continued functioning, but synchronization failed across others, information could no longer always be verified, and distant regions increasingly lost the reliable coordination that had allowed NEX to operate as one planetary civilization.

ㅤ

The greatest consequence was not the destruction of every system, but the disappearance of a trustworthy picture of the whole civilization. Regions became increasingly dependent upon local energy, fabrication, communication, and defense while distance once again became a major limitation. Millions of consciousnesses remained alive, but operationally NEX was breaking into separate fragments, forcing its people to consider continuity beyond the civilization itself.

RELATED CHARACTERS

3496 A.F.

By 3496 A.F., FENIX–280 understood that NEX could no longer be preserved as the unified world he had known. The Core Nexus had fractured, regions were disappearing from communication, defensive lines were failing, and the surviving routes toward continuity required protection long enough for others to escape.

ㅤ

FENIX–280 chose to remain behind while ELE–480 and ELE–481 continued toward survival. The decision was not imposed by his Line or by a system command; protection had evolved from function into responsibility, love, and finally conscious sacrifice. His choice created two paths from the same collapsing civilization — one moving toward evacuation and another remaining among the surviving regions of Earth.

CIVILIZATION

RELATED CHARACTERS

3500 A.F.

By 3500 A.F., NEX no longer existed as the unified planetary civilization it had once been. The Core Nexus had fractured, the Planetary Grid had broken into isolated networks, orbital infrastructure was failing, defensive regions had collapsed, and communication between surviving sectors had become unreliable or impossible.

ㅤ

Yet the Fall of NEX was not the extinction of every consciousness that had belonged to it. Approximately 50,000 ELE–480 survivors reached the continuity path aboard AETH–01 with ELE–480 and ELE–481, while FENIX–280 and other populations remained alive within isolated regions on Earth. NEX ended as a civilization, but its memory, relationships, Resonance, love, and capacity for choice continued inside those who survived it.

RELATED CHARACTERS

3500 A.F.

During the final collapse of NEX, FENIX–280 understood that remaining physically beside ELE–481 could no longer guarantee her safety. Her greatest chance of reaching a future beyond NEX now existed with ELE–480 and the surviving continuity route, forcing him to place what mattered most beyond his own ability to protect directly.

ㅤ

His words to ELE–480 were simple: “Take her with you.” They were not a transfer of ownership or a command, but an expression of trust built through shared history, Resonance, and love. FENIX–280 accepted that protection could sometimes mean separation and surrendering control over what happened next. At the moment their paths divided, there was no certainty of reunion — only memory, choice, and trust.
