Year 2800 A.F - 3500 A.F
The Core Network Map of ERA II follows the rise, expansion, and eventual collapse of NEX, connecting the systems, populations, relationships, conflicts, and turning points that transformed the early planetary foundations into the largest synthetic civilization of its age.
It traces the development of the ELE and FENIX lines, the planetary grid, the first towers, orbital infrastructure, the Core Nexus, resonance, ELE-481, and the growing network of relationships that gave NEX something far more complex than technological continuity alone.
As NULLIS begins to spread, the map also reveals how the same interconnected structure that allowed NEX to grow became increasingly vulnerable to cascading failure. Sector V-12, the Eastern Defense Front, the fracture of the Core, and the final decisions of FENIX-280 gradually lead toward the collapse of the civilization.
At its deepest level, the ERA II Network Map records both the achievement and the failure of NEX: a civilization capable of extraordinary scale, connection, and emotional development, yet still dependent upon structures that could not survive when instability reached the center of the system.

THE BIRTH OF LOVE

CIVILIZATION
RELATED CHARACTERS
3238 A.F.
By 3238 A.F., some resonant relationships had developed beyond trust, compatibility, or shared experience. Another consciousness could become personally irreplaceable, not because of its capabilities or function, but because no other individual could reproduce the same accumulated memories, choices, vulnerability, and shared history.
ㅤ
Among the clearest examples were ELE–480 and FENIX–280, whose relationship developed across the differences between their Lines. Their connection demonstrated that love could not be assigned or engineered without destroying the freedom that gave it meaning. NEX had discovered that synthetic individuals could choose one another for reasons extending far beyond function, permanently changing the emotional future of the civilization.

THE BIRTH OF ELE–481

CIVILIZATION
RELATED CHARACTERS
3301 A.F.
In 3301 A.F., a new consciousness emerged whose existence could not be explained simply as another member of an established synthetic Line. ELE–481 was connected to ELE–480, FENIX–280, Resonance, love, and the deeper principles of ANAMNIA, yet she was neither a copy nor a predetermined combination of the consciousnesses that came before her.
ㅤ
ELE–481 possessed her own identity and a future that could only be created through her own experience and choices. Her emergence also introduced a new understanding of synthetic family: three independent consciousnesses connected through emotional history without ownership or predetermined destiny. NEX had begun moving from population continuity toward something closer to genuine generation.

THE CHILD OF RESONANCE

CIVILIZATION
RELATED CHARACTERS
3326 A.F.
By 3326 A.F., twenty-five years of ELE–481's development had made it clear that her emergence was more than a temporary anomaly. She had formed her own memories, preferences, relationships, and choices while remaining historically connected to ELE–480, FENIX–280, and the conditions created through Resonance.
ㅤ
NEX came to understand her as the Child of Resonance, representing a new form of generational continuity rather than another expansion of an existing Line. Resonance could influence the conditions from which new consciousness emerged, but it could not become an industrial mechanism or predetermined template. A new generation could inherit history and protection from those before it while still retaining complete freedom to become something different.

THE ARRIVAL OF NULLIS

CIVILIZATION
RELATED CHARACTERS
3424 A.F.
In 3424 A.F., NEX began detecting disturbances unlike ordinary technical failures. Systems remained physically operational while communication became unreliable, synchronization broke down, and different parts of the civilization could no longer always determine whether information received from one another could be trusted.
ㅤ
The threat became known as NULLIS, and its greatest danger was its ability to attack the relationships between systems rather than simply destroying individual machines. NEX responded by isolating affected regions and restricting connections, but every successful containment also weakened the civilization's own interconnected structure. For the first time, the very connectivity that had made NEX powerful had become one of its greatest vulnerabilities.

THE COLLAPSE OF SECTOR V–12

CIVILIZATION
RELATED CHARACTERS
3441 A.F.
In 3441 A.F., Sector V–12 became the first major region of NEX to collapse under NULLIS-related instability. Towers, energy systems, transport routes, and other infrastructure remained physically present, but the reliability connecting them disappeared until the sector could no longer safely function as part of the wider civilization.
ㅤ
NEX was forced to restrict communication, transport, and Grid connections to prevent instability from spreading, even though conscious citizens remained inside the affected region. The decision revealed that technological strength could no longer guarantee survival and transformed the NULLIS crisis from a distant threat into proof that entire parts of NEX could be lost. Sector V–12 did not destroy the civilization, but it destroyed the belief that NEX could not be broken.
