PRES-UA-12 — Unknown Access Protocol

PRES-UA-12 — Unknown Access Protocol governed the response to any unidentified person, machine, synthetic intelligence, signal source, or autonomous system attempting to approach, enter, or interact with protected regions of Preservation. Its purpose was to prevent uncontrolled access without automatically treating every unknown presence as hostile.

ㅤ

The protocol began with observation and identification. Biological signatures, synthetic architecture, communication patterns, movement behavior, access history, environmental interaction, and possible technological origin were analyzed before any deeper response was authorized. Unknown arrivals were kept outside critical sectors while Security, Monitoring, Communication, and Surface Monitoring systems compared available data against trusted records.

ㅤ

Initial contact, when permitted, remained deliberately limited. Communication could be restricted to isolated channels, physical access confined to controlled zones, and all transmitted data separated from operational networks. The system attempted to determine whether the unknown entity understood communication, posed immediate danger, carried contamination, or could be safely observed without increasing risk to Preservation.

ㅤ

Failure to identify an arrival did not automatically trigger destructive action. Preservation had been created around long-term survival, not indiscriminate exclusion. However, uncertainty never granted deeper access. Any entity that could not be reliably classified remained separated from chamber regions, critical infrastructure, Guardian Fragment systems, and the Central Preservation Sector until sufficient evidence justified a different response.

ㅤ

If hostile behavior, system manipulation, contamination, forced entry, or attempts to bypass protected boundaries were detected, PRES-UA-12 transferred authority to stronger isolation, security, and containment protocols. Access routes could be sealed, communication terminated, local sectors isolated, and defensive responses escalated according to the threat presented.

ㅤ

Across thousands of years, the Unknown Access Protocol allowed Preservation to remain cautious without becoming blindly aggressive. Its governing principle was simple: recognition before access, observation before trust, and protection before assumption.
