PRES-BI-03 — Biological Integrity Protocol

PRES-BI-03 — Biological Integrity Protocol was activated whenever the Biological Continuity System detected physiological change that exceeded the limits of normal long-term variation. Its purpose was to identify whether a developing abnormality represented temporary instability, gradual degradation, chamber-related stress, medical complications, or a deeper threat to the preserved individual's long-term viability.

ㅤ

The protocol required multiple biological systems to compare their findings before any major intervention began. Cellular stability, organ condition, neural preservation, immune response, metabolic behavior, vascular integrity, genetic references, and previous medical history were evaluated together so that one abnormal reading could not trigger an unnecessary or irreversible procedure.

ㅤ

If the change remained minor, the protocol authorized controlled correction through chamber adjustment, medication, environmental modification, metabolic regulation, or localized medical treatment. More serious conditions triggered deeper diagnostic analysis and increasingly specialized intervention, while the affected individual could be temporarily separated from routine chamber management until biological stability returned.

ㅤ

The protocol maintained a strict distinction between repairing damage and changing the person being preserved. Medical systems were allowed to restore damaged tissue, compensate for physiological deterioration, and correct abnormal processes, but they could not redefine the individual's biological baseline simply because another configuration might be easier to maintain. Genetic and identity references remained protected throughout every intervention.

ㅤ

When biological integrity could not be restored through standard procedures, PRES-BI-03 required additional verification from Medical Support, Genetic Preservation, chamber systems, and trusted continuity records before more invasive action was permitted. If time allowed, conflicting interpretations remained unresolved rather than being forced into a single automated decision. Preservation treated uncertainty itself as information that had to be respected.

ㅤ

Across thousands of years, PRES-BI-03 protected the preserved population from one of the most dangerous forms of failure: deterioration too gradual to appear catastrophic until recovery was no longer possible. Its purpose was to ensure that humanity did not merely remain alive inside Preservation, but remained biologically recoverable, individually identifiable, and connected to the bodies that had originally entered the chambers.
