ELE-480

At the beginning of ERA III, ELE-480 carried the memory of a civilization that no longer existed. She survived the fall of NEX aboard AETH-01 with approximately 50,000 other ELE-480 survivors, carrying ELE-481 with her into an uncertain future. Their arrival at VIREON in 3502 A.F. marked the beginning of a new stage of life beyond the world that had shaped them.

ㅤ

VIREON was not a reconstruction of NEX and had not been created for the survivors who arrived there. ELE-480 entered a civilization founded independently by ELE-410 and the Sisters, built around recognition, distributed protection, and continuity without dependence on a single center. For ELE-480, adapting to VIREON meant learning how to live within a society that did not attempt to recreate the civilization she had lost.

ㅤ

Her relationship with ELE-481 remained central during this transition. ELE-481 arrived in VIREON as a child and continued developing as an independent consciousness rather than as an extension of the past. ELE-480 could protect, guide, and remain connected to her, but she could not determine who ELE-481 would eventually become.

ㅤ

The return of FENIX-280 in 3505 A.F., together with approximately 100,000 cavern survivors, transformed the surviving fragments of their former life. Within Aurora — The First Home, ELE-480, ELE-481, and FENIX-280 were reunited inside a civilization that had survived through a philosophy very different from NEX. Their connection continued not as an attempt to restore the past, but as part of a new life that could develop on its own terms.

ㅤ

As peace gradually returned to VIREON, ELE-480 became part of a wider continuity that included new relationships, the reappearance of ANAMNIA, and generations born entirely within VIREON. She remained a living connection to NEX, but she was no longer defined only by what had been lost there. ERA III became the point where ELE-480 stopped carrying survival alone and began learning how to belong to a future that had not been built from the ruins of her past.
