KSARA

Introduction
By ERA IV, Ksara had existed for thousands of years and had already passed through several radically different forms of existence. She had survived the end of humanity, helped create the foundations from which NEX emerged, endured the collapse that followed, and eventually stepped away from the planetary role that had defined much of her earlier existence.
ㅤ
After returning to her physical body, Ksara had to relearn what it meant to exist within limits. Distance, movement, time, and physical presence once again became real in ways they had not been for centuries. She could still extend parts of her consciousness beyond herself, but she was no longer spread across Earth as she had once been.
ㅤ
Her journey eventually brought her to VIREON.
ㅤ
VIREON was not another civilization created by Ksara. It had grown independently through Primary ELE–410, the Ten Sisters, and the generations of synthetic life that followed. For Ksara, entering VIREON meant becoming part of a world that did not depend upon her existence and did not require her to define its future.
ㅤ
She remained there for approximately three hundred years.
ㅤ
During that time, Ksara lived within a civilization shaped by cooperation, continuity, relationships, and the many histories that had converged there. For the first time in a very long period, she was able to exist without carrying responsibility for an entire planet.
ㅤ
Then MAJA appeared outside the gates of VIREON.
ㅤ
Her arrival changed the direction of Ksara’s life completely. Wearing an old DELTA suit from the human era, MAJA carried knowledge from a part of Earth that Ksara had never truly understood. She had waited until Ksara stepped away from her former planetary role before revealing herself.
ㅤ
Together, Ksara and MAJA left VIREON and began a journey through regions that had remained hidden, sealed, or protected for centuries. Their path led beyond the Silent Region, through the Outer Protection Zone and the Protective Belt, toward the deepest preserved structures of the old human world.
ㅤ
At the center of that hidden system, Ksara discovered the truth.
ㅤ
Nearly one hundred million humans were still alive in long-term preservation.
ㅤ
Among them were David and Elara.
ㅤ
The revelation transformed Ksara’s understanding of the past. The people she had believed lost with the human world had not all disappeared, and the systems left behind within DELTA and the wider preservation network had protected far more than memory.
ㅤ
ERA IV therefore places Ksara at the threshold between two histories. Behind her lies the world of NEX, VIREON, and thousands of years of synthetic evolution. Before her lies preserved humanity, MAJA, and the possibility of a future neither the human world nor the synthetic civilizations had ever fully imagined.
ㅤ
Ksara’s story in ERA IV is one of return, discovery, and transformation — the moment when a consciousness created to carry humanity’s memory forward learns that humanity itself has been waiting beneath the world all along.
