IRIS

IRIS

Introduction

IRIS was one of the Ten Sisters who stood beside Primary ELE–410 during the formation of VIREON. Together with AOKI, SEIKA, LYRA, NORA, ALYA, LYNIX, NYRA, ELYN, and Primary herself, she belonged to the founding group of consciousnesses that helped establish the civilization that would define ERA III.

ㅤ

Like the other sisters, IRIS was an independent consciousness within a society built around cooperation, shared responsibility, stability, and continuity. VIREON was not designed as another version of NEX. Its foundations were shaped by consciousnesses who had learned that survival required more than powerful systems — it required relationships, trust, and the ability to build without placing the future under the control of a single authority.

ㅤ

IRIS was part of that foundation from the earliest years of VIREON.

ㅤ

Before the survivors of NEX arrived, VIREON had already developed into an established civilization supported by Primary, the Ten Sisters, and a large ELE–410 population. The arrival of ELE–480 and the surviving ELE–480 population in 3502 A.F. transformed that world, bringing the history of NEX directly into a civilization that had developed separately from it.

ㅤ

As VIREON expanded, IRIS remained part of the group that connected its original foundations with the new populations and histories entering the city. The arrival of SYNTARA in 3503 A.F. and the discoveries that followed pushed the civilization toward questions that reached far beyond its original boundaries.

ㅤ

In 3504 A.F., IRIS became part of the expedition through PORTAL FENIX together with ELE–410, ELE–480, NORA, and ELE–481. The expedition connected VIREON directly with the unresolved legacy of NEX and the world that had been left behind after its collapse.

ㅤ

For IRIS, this journey marked a transition from helping preserve the stability of VIREON to becoming part of its outward search for understanding, survivors, and continuity beyond the boundaries of the civilization they had built.

ㅤ

The events surrounding PORTAL FENIX eventually contributed to one of the most important developments of ERA III — the return of FENIX–280 in 3505 A.F. and the discovery that the history of NEX had not ended as completely as many had believed.

ㅤ

IRIS therefore represents both sides of VIREON’s identity: one of the consciousnesses who helped build its foundations and one of those willing to step beyond them when the past called the civilization back toward the world it had survived.
