The First Descendant

The First Descendant is a free-to-play science-fiction third-person looter shooter set in a world where humanity is struggling to survive after an invasion by the dimension-crossing Vulgus and their enormous Colossi. Players become Descendants, warriors with unique abilities who defend humanity's remaining stronghold at Albion while progressing through scenario missions and gradually uncovering the origins of the Descendants and the forces threatening the continent of Ingris. Gameplay combines third-person shooting, character abilities, extensive equipment collection and progression with solo missions and cooperative battles. Different Descendants support distinct combat styles, while major Void Intercept encounters allow teams of up to four players to coordinate against giant bosses.
