Surviving Mars

Surviving Mars is a science-fiction city-building and colony survival strategy game focused on establishing a permanent human presence on the Red Planet. Players choose a mission sponsor, select a landing site and begin with robotic explorers and supply rockets before constructing power systems, water networks, oxygen production, domes and the infrastructure required to support human colonists. As the colony grows, players must manage resources, research technologies, produce food and minerals and respond to the individual needs and traits of colonists. Environmental hazards, shortages and mysterious events can threaten the settlement, while efficient planning and expansion can transform a fragile outpost into a large self-sufficient Martian society.
