Laysara: Summit Kingdom

Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a city-building and economic strategy game about rebuilding a civilization high in the mountains after its people are forced from the lowlands. Each mountain offers a different landscape, climate, vegetation and resource distribution, requiring players to establish settlements that fit the unique geography of the region. Production chains, transportation routes and the needs of a three-caste society must all be balanced as towns expand across increasingly difficult terrain. Individual mountain settlements are connected through a larger trading network, allowing specialized towns to support one another with resources and manufactured goods. Environmental hazards such as avalanches and severe weather can threaten carefully planned infrastructure, while the ultimate challenge on each mountain is reaching the peak and constructing a Summit Temple. The game deliberately excludes combat and military systems, concentrating entirely on city building, logistics, economy and survival in a hostile mountain environment.
