Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn is a story-driven open-world action RPG set in a distant future where humanity lives in tribal societies while enormous animal-like machines dominate the wilderness. Players take the role of Aloy, a young hunter raised as an outcast who sets out to discover the truth about her origins, the mysterious technology surrounding her world and the ancient catastrophe that transformed civilization. Her journey gradually reveals a much larger threat capable of endangering the future of humanity itself. Gameplay combines third-person exploration, ranged and melee combat, stealth, crafting and RPG-style progression. Machines have different behaviors, strengths and vulnerable components that can be targeted using Aloy's bows, traps and specialized ammunition.
