Galacticare

Galacticare is a science-fiction hospital management and strategy simulation in which players become the Director of an intergalactic healthcare corporation. Hospitals can be designed, furnished and upgraded while doctors with different skills and personalities are recruited to treat an enormous variety of alien patients and increasingly bizarre medical conditions. Each location introduces new species, diseases and management challenges, ranging from orbital hospitals to deep-space prisons and unusual extraterrestrial environments. Progression combines hospital construction, staff management, research, economic planning and optimization. Specialist Consultants remain with the player throughout the campaign and develop new abilities, while technologies such as holographic doctors, teleporters and experimental treatment rooms help improve hospital performance. A story-driven campaign is complemented by sandbox and Challenge Mode options for players who want either unrestricted construction or more demanding management scenarios.
