Base One

Base One is a science-fiction base-building and management strategy game set after a massive wormhole tears apart the Moon and triggers catastrophic disasters on Earth. Humanity establishes the Solution space exploration program, sending expeditions through unexplored regions in search of new planets and resources that could provide civilization with another home. Players command a growing network of space stations and manage the crews responsible for keeping them operational. Station construction is combined with resource and survival management. Power, heating, oxygen and water must be distributed throughout the station network, while crew members with different characteristics are assigned to specialized tasks. Exploration provides new resources and locations, while asteroid impacts and hostile space pirates require defensive systems and military preparation. A story-driven campaign is complemented by a Custom Game mode for more open-ended station building.
