Anno 117: Pax Romana

Anno 117: Pax Romana is a historical city-building and economic strategy game set during the height of the Roman Empire in 117 AD. Players take the role of a Roman governor responsible for establishing and developing settlements across provinces including Latium and the Celtic lands of Albion. Cities grow through detailed production chains, trade networks, infrastructure, taxation and the changing needs of different population classes. As settlements expand, players must decide how they want to govern. Economic prosperity can be pursued through trade and efficient production, diplomatic relationships can help maintain peace, while military power offers another path for expanding influence. Cultural choices also play an important role, particularly in Albion, where local traditions can either be preserved or gradually replaced by Roman customs. Single-player campaign and sandbox systems are complemented by cooperative and competitive multiplayer.
