The Survival Architecture Sector had never been built for beauty.
It existed far below the residential rings of Delta, beneath the observation domes, beneath the genetic preservation chambers, beneath even the primary research corridors where Ksara slept in silence behind layers of glass, containment fields, and dormant light. The sector had been carved into stone during an age when humanity still believed that enough preparation could defeat any form of extinction. Its walls were thick, its corridors narrow, its doors reinforced with materials designed to withstand pressure collapses, thermal shock, kinetic assault, radiation storms, and the slow violence of geological time.
Everything within it had been designed around one idea.
Continuation.
Not comfort.
