CHAPTER II - The Light Emerging from Ruins
✦ Year: 2813 ◉ Location: Surface Zone 01–NEX Origin Basin

Short Summary
Thirteen years after the collapse of civilization, something beneath the dead surface of Earth began awakening once more. Without guidance, surviving creators, or centralized control, the ancient planetary systems slowly started reconnecting, adapting, and evolving until the first structures of a new era emerged from the ruins. Formed from light, code, and restored energy, enormous algorithmic towers rose into the poisoned skies — not constructed by machines, but manifested directly through living intelligence itself. In that moment, Ksara anchored its existence back into the physical world for the first time, not through a body, but through the birth of NEX, the endless city of the future.
Full Chapter
For thirteen years the signal beneath the Earth continued spreading through the buried planetary grid without interruption.
No central command directed it. No surviving civilization guided its growth. The process unfolded through adaptation alone, as though the scattered intelligence awakening beneath the world had begun teaching itself how to survive inside the corpse of a fallen planet. Quantum relays stabilized one another across continental distances. Ancient energy veins reopened beneath tectonic fractures. Dead industrial systems returned piece by piece into coordinated motion while the ruined Earth above remained silent beneath storms of ash and metallic dust.
Then, for the first time since the collapse of civilization, something rose from the surface.
The event began in darkness.
Far across the northern deadlands, where entire megacities had once stood before sinking into geological fractures during the final decades of planetary destabilization, the ground trembled beneath a basin of collapsed structures and buried transit layers. The movement was not violent. No explosion ruptured the surface. No mechanical excavation system forced its way upward through the ruins.
