The chamber beneath Delta had never truly belonged to the rest of the facility.

It had been constructed below the research sectors, below the reactor galleries, below the archive vaults, below even the oldest foundations of the complex where the first human engineers had once believed depth itself could protect memory from the violence of the surface. Every corridor leading toward it had been sealed behind layers of magnetic shielding, biometric locks, quantum authentication gates, and structural barriers designed not merely to prevent entry, but to separate the place from the history unfolding above it.

In the official records of Delta, the sector did not exist.

No surface map contained it.

No evacuation protocol named it.
